Chicken breast with roasted red potatoes and salad


First dinner at the trailer for 2012 – chicken breast on the grill with roasted red potatoes, grilled mushrooms and salad. The recipe for the breast is a very simple one – salt, paper, ground garlic, Club House salmon spice and my secret ingredient – Diana garlic & herbs marinate which I use on almost everything. The potatoes are small red mixed with some olive oil, salt, paper and fresh or dry rosemary leaves and roasted on the BBQ for approximately one hour. The most simple part was the salad – spring mix salad with salt, paper, olive oil and zesty italian dressing.

Spiced leg of lamb with red wine sauce and roasted potatoes


First time I’m cooking a recipe from www.savory.tv but I’ll definitely come back for more ideas. Living in a condo and not having a smoker available during the winter, I’ve decided the oven roast the lamb. I did a lot of research for the internal temperature (lamb – well done) and almost every body indicate 145C the right temperature. Unfortunately, my roast was medium rare after almost 2 hours on 180C so I had it in the oven for an extra 1.5h.

The roasted red potatoes and the red wine sauce are a perfect match for this roast and should be mandatory.
